It has been my pleasure to serve in the Salmon School District since July, 2007.  I have enjoyed this opportunity and look forward to continuing to be a part of the District and the community of Salmon.

 Salmon School District is located in Lemhi County, on the Salmon River at the base of the Beaverhead Mountains.  If you enjoy the outdoors and beautiful scenery Salmon is the place for you.

 Salmon School District has four schools, Pioneer Elementary serving grades K-4, which includes a developmental preschool program, Salmon Middle School, for grades 5-8, Salmon High School, grades 9-12 , and Salmon Alternative High School, grades 9-12.  The District also provides services for a comprehensive special education program. All of our schools and programs are fully accredited.

 The District student population is 940 students.  The Salmon School District employees 150 people, of whom 65 are, certified personnel.

 It is our goal, as stated in our mission statement, to provide excellence in education to every child entering our doors.  Our staff is committed to providing a safe, secure learning environment to promote success for each student.   As patrons you can be proud of the educational system here.
